2023 Back to School Drive
For a child experiencing foster care, normalcy can look as simple as a new backpack or lunch box; and healing can be seen in the positive impact on that child’s self-confidence as they start the school year feeling that they belong.
Starting immediately, Embrace Families is accepting donations to help offset some of the financial stresses many caregiver families experience as the kids head back to school. We’ve asked our caregivers, and they’ve told us that new backpacks, lunch boxes and water bottles will be most helpful as they prepare the children in their homes — ages 2 to 18 — to return to the classroom.
There are several ways to help!

- Or, if you prefer to shop locally, you can drop off donations of new, unused items – Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm – at 901 N. Lake Destiny Rd., Suite 400, Maitland, FL 32751. Please note that our office will be closed on July 3rd and 4th in observance of the holiday.
Time and again supporters, like yourself, step forward to show our community’s children that they matter and that we care. Can you help once again?
