Bio

Jennifer Anan joined Embrace Families CBC in 2021 with over 14 years of experience in child welfare. Starting her career as a case manager, she transitioned to working in child abuse investigations for 5 years before going to the lead CBC in the Northeast Region, Family Support Services of North Florida, to serve children in a different role.

Jennifer served in varying leadership roles while at Family Support Services, from managing foster care placement and behavioral health to executive leadership in operations as the Chief of Staff. She uses her direct knowledge of the frontline to develop and implement innovative programs and policies for children in the foster care system. Jennifer has trained many external stakeholders on the system of care and other specialty issues within the community. She is a firm believer in community-based care, knowing that it takes the community to work together to heal children and families.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida. She has special training certifications in many different areas to include working with human trafficking victims, executive leadership and project management. Some of her hobbies include painting, reading classic mystery novels, and trying new coffee shops in the area.
