Hurricane Idalia Tracker
UPDATE 08.30.23
With Hurricane Idalia now leaving our area, we are happy to report that our buildings avoided any major storm impacts. As a result, all Embrace Families offices and service centers will be open for staff and partner use tomorrow, Aug. 31, at 8 a.m.
UPDATED 08.29.23 5:30 p.m.
To ensure the safety of our staff, partners and those we serve, Embrace Families has made the decision to close our buildings and service centers until after the storm passes. The buildings will close effective 6 p.m. today and remain closed until we have assessed any damage or safety issues following the storm. During this time, while power and Internet remain available, our team members will continue to work remotely to fulfill priority and time-sensitive obligations. We will continue to provide updates as the storm progresses. As always, stay safe and stay in touch.
UPDATED 08.29.23
Tropical Storm Idalia has now been upgraded to a hurricane. While we await further information about the direction and anticipated storm impacts, our service center buildings remain open for essential business throughout the business day.
If it does become necessary to close the buildings due to safety issues in the coming days, we will provide updates on an ongoing basis. Our protocol is to announce plans for building reopening after assessing any damage or safety issues once the storm has passed. During this time, while power and Internet remain available, our team members will continue to work remotely to fulfill priority and time-sensitive obligations.
