Jennifer Bero first joined the CBC of Central Florida team in 2011 as part of the SAMHSA Children’s Mental Health Initiative. She utilized her knowledge from work in both the private sector and local government to assist in the development and implementation of the initiative. As one of its founding board members and Treasurer, Jennifer also played a significant role in the start of the Federation of Families of Central Florida; a family-run nonprofit organization serving caregivers of children and youth having mental illness. Jennifer now serves as the Pathways to Home Program Director where she is responsible for program leadership and development, quality improvement, and grant/funding compliance. She leads an amazing team of individuals who are committed to ending homelessness and preventing children from coming into the dependency system due to homelessness.
