Luz A. Rodriguez, AA

Luz A. Rodriguez is a family support navigator with Embrace Families Breakthrough program, assisting families of children with multiple Baker Acts in Orange County. In her position, she uses her lived experience as a mother of two daughters with mental health challenges to help participating families. Previously, Luz worked as a disaster case manager and crisis counselor to support recovery efforts after Hurricane Irma and Maria in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, and during the COVID pandemic. Luz has a passion for raising awareness about resiliency and using her lived experience to help others in need.
