Maggie Dante joined Embrace Families CBC in 2019 with more than two decades supporting Florida’s children and families. After beginning her career as a licensed mental health counselor specializing in children’s behavioral health, Maggie oversaw parent education and family strengthening programs in the Palm Beach area. She later served in multiple capacities with Universal Health Services of Delaware, located in Fort Lauderdale, including Director of Clinical Services and later as Chief Operating Officer at both High Point Treatment Center and Atlantic Shores Hospital. Maggie returned to child welfare in 2005 as Senior Vice President of Operations with Children’s Home Society in Miami.

Maggie’s broad management experience is informed by her many years of working directly with children. She is a firm believer in a child-centered approach and breaking down barriers to achieving high outcomes for children and families.

Maggie earned her Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration, with a specialization in non-profit management and leadership, from Walden University. She has a master of science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. After relocating to Orlando to join Embrace Families CBC, Maggie resumed many of her long-time hobbies, including the classical piano and training for her first marathon.
