Peter R. Amico, PhD. Health Policy

After starting his career as an Economist, Peter worked for a health care research organization designing and evaluating major initiatives on behalf of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Centers for Disease Control and the National Quality Forum. He started his own firm in 2018 and continues to consult as an economist. He has experience conducting large evaluations on behalf of Medicare and the Centers for Disease Control. Peter is a partner at NewGate Capital where he invests in and consults with startup companies.

Peter is a foster and adoptive parent married to Kendra, an emergency room physician (MD) and mother to their 6 kids: Alyxis, Jaylen, Leigha, Julien, Kayci and Magnolia.
