Rebecca has a deep commitment to working toward effective, long-term solutions for populations in need, and is an eager and open-minded advocate for children and families. Rebecca’s involvement with Embrace Families is extensive, having first joined the agency as part of the Pathways to Home staff in 2012. The following year, she began leading grant and new business development efforts across the organization. Key contributions have included securing Embrace Families first direct federal awards, obtaining the pilot contract for Keys to Independence, and leading the successful response to the child welfare ITN in 2018. In early 2020, Rebecca was tasked with leading Embrace Families Solutions.

Prior to joining Embrace Families, Rebecca worked in banking — but found her calling in social services and program development when she joined the team at Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, helping to develop the region’s first rapid re-housing program for homeless families. Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from Mary Washington College, and a Master’s in Public Administration with a specialization in Non-Profit Management from Villanova University. In 2017, Rebecca was recognized as an Emerging Leader Honoree by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Central Florida Chapter.

Rebecca is a member of Leadership Florida, and is active with several community collaborations addressing issues such as youth and family homelessness, youth mental health and workforce development. She resides near downtown Orlando with her husband and son.
