Child Advocate Recognized for Getting Results

Johnny Polanco,  Lead Child Advocate at Embrace Families Children’s Advocacy Center Osceola, and a tireless champion for children and families, was recently recognized by local WKMG-New 6 as a Central Floridian who is “Getting Results”.

For fifteen years, Johnny Polanco has provided care and comfort to children who have experienced egregious abuse and neglect.  When his dreams took a detour from the major leagues, Polanco found a new passion — going above and beyond to engage with families, provide support, and supply basic needs. While he remains involved on the ballfield, he firmly believes that he’s in the right place and on the career path he was meant to take.
