This Giving Tuesday, we are especially grateful to you and all those who stand by our kids and #EmbraceCommunity.

With all the challenges that 2020 has brought our way, what has been most inspiring are the examples of those who give so much. The medical professionals who put their personal health at risk to care for others. The foster and relative caregivers whose commitment to the children in their homes has never wavered despite a year filled with curve balls. The teachers who demonstrate moment-by-moment the flexibility and grace this year has asked of all of us.

As Fred Rogers said, “We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.”

Thank you for being a hero to Central Florida’s kids, keeping them safe from abuse or neglect, while strengthening families and building a stronger community.
