ONE conversation that moves us ...
ONE step closer to polishing off child abuse.
The MANicure Movement®, which started right here in Central Florida in 2017, is a grassroots effort designed to raise awareness of child abuse as a national health crisis. Throughout the month, child welfare agencies work in tandem with community partners to highlight the important prevention work that is being done to create strong families.

The campaign runs throughout the month of April -- which is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. It is highlighted by kick-off events throughout Florida; widespread involvement of community leaders and first responders; ongoing corporate champion MANicure events; an educational webinar series; and a robust social media campaign.

There are many ways to participate. A few appear below, but keep following this blog to learn more about how we can work together to polish off child abuse.
- Volunteer to be part of the solution
- Attend a virtual webinar
- Set up a MANicure Movement® event at your office or club
- Spread the word on social media by showing off your painted nails with the hashtag #MANicureMovement and tagging us @embracefamiliesfl
- Educate others
